August 2007 was the first time that I ever visited the City of Chicago. My new boyfriend(who is now my husband), was bringing me home to meet his friends, family and go to a music festival called Lollapalooza. Lollapalooza has been around (off and on) for about 20 years. The year that John and I went it was held in Grant Park & Daft Punk was the Headliner on Friday night. I went into the night not knowing a whole lot about Daft Punk and a little sceptical about the whole thing but my eyes were opened to whole new world of music. It was literally the coolest show that I have ever been to! The music was awesome, the crowd was so amped and all I wanted to do was dance. (no I was not on drugs!!) Every time I listen to Daft Punk, all I can think about is how great this show was!
