The Shedd Aquarium- August 2010

For our annual work retreat last year, we decided to spend the day in the city. Our manager took us all out for a day at the Shedd Aquarium where we saw Happy Feet in 4D (which is really 3D with water being sprayed on you, but still really fun). We also saw the Dolphin and Whale show that had these really adorable Beluga whales. All the exhibits that we went to were fantastic. The Amazon River exhibit was super creepy with spiders, crodiles and piranhas. They also had one of the prettiest coral reef exhibits that I have ever seen. There were sea turtles, eels and tons of colorful fish. The coolest one by far was the Jellies exhibit. They displayed the jellyfish as if they were moving neon art. I just love aquariums!!
